The 'This Is What We Do' campaign was devised by ad agency Fallon. The series of short sequences tell behind-the-scenes stories about BBC personnel and celebrate the Corporation's values and achievements.

The first of the promotions aired in late March 2006 and featured BBC world affairs editor, John Simpson and tells how the reporter was able to get himself and his crew into Kabul after the Afghan capital was liberated from the Taliban in November 2001.
