BBC News Channel 'Clock' promos [April 2006 - Present]

Clear produced six sequences relating to various aspects of news coverage on the BBC News Channel: sports, news, business, headlines, football and weather. Clocks are used in each to represent the 24/7 nature of the channel.

Clear's lead 3D artist, Andi Farhall, pre-visualised the images using Softimage XSI before camera moves were exported into a motion control rig for the shoot. Senior Flame artist Rob Walker composited the live action sequences; Derek Moore was the Flame artist and Garth Reilly the Combustion artist. The sequences have been on air since late-April 2006.
